Success Story: First Mass Cycling and Walking Event in Maputo, Mozambique

I organized Maputo’s first major cycling event, engaging over 500 participants to promote sustainable mobility. My role included securing funding, managing logistics, ensuring legal compliance, and obtaining permits. The event inspired the municipality to launch monthly cycling days and plan for bike lanes, setting a precedent for sustainable transport initiatives in the city.
